Named Accountable GP

All patients (including children) registered at The Marches Surgery have a named, accountable GP who is responsible for their overall care at the practice.

If you wish to know the name of your usual GP, please contact us or ask the receptionist next time you visit the surgery. If you are prescribed medication, you can find the name of your usual GP at the bottom of your prescription.

Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice. Your named GP will not be available at all times and, if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.

If you have a preference as to your named GP, then please talk to one of our receptionists. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
